Allison Ponthier, who released her debut EP Faking My Own Death in August 2021, was announced as one of several support acts for the legendary indie band Bleachers' 2022 tour, joining Wolf Alice, Beabadoobee, and The Lemon Twigs.

Ponthier also toured with LA band Lord Huron last year, and featured on their 2021 track I Lied, which she performed with them on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Texas born singer/songwriter moved to New York in 2017, and following a brief stint as a model, attracted a loyal following on TikTok for her cover songs and duet videos. Billboard included her EP's debut track, Cowboy, in its list of the 25 Best Songs By LGBTQ Artists of 2021 (So Far), and she's since been profiled by publications including Vogue and Cosmopolitan.
